Blog
I've updated the design, linked to the Twitter API, and am now working on integrating new content.
Now the plans are:
- I'm currently considering whether to run a blog through Umbraco, or through a third party blog publisher like Glue so I can more easily update from my iPhone. Maybe predominantly a technology blog (or a feed from other blogs)
- RSS Feed from LastFM and Spotify, RSS subscribe logo and search functionality on right of navbar. Also today's date in white
- API integration with Google Maps and Flickr - continuing my MSc project
- More content (the great thing about Umbraco is that I can quickly jump in and edit content and more, without the need to have an instance of Visual Studio running).
- Design - has been refreshed, am still open to suggestions! But pink and grey are my colours (might soften the grey a bit and slightly reduce the pink)
- Past projects section
- Ensure consistent W3C standard compliancy
- Uploading nice designs/pictures and links
-Dev links section, especially with more information about Umbraco and the latest news from them. Also some MSDN updates from regular bloggers such as ScottGu
- add an About Page, better contact page (mailchimp integration perhaps), and a "last updated" control for the content
- create a web dev links section
- local music section (gigs etc)
- possibly implement dynamic XSLT for header links - although not enough content to warrant this right now!
- iPhone specific html
- Collaborations!
